The CMS

Services, projects, blog posts, open roles, testimonials and tools live in Framer’s CMS. Add an item and its detail page, its card on the overview page and its links appear by themselves.

Open it from the top-left menu → CMS. The left panel lists the collections; Fields shows the fields of the selected collection.

Collection Items Feeds
Services 8 /services, one page per service, the services on Home
Projects 8 /projects (grid and list), one page per project, the projects on Home
Blog 12 /blog, one page per post, the posts on Home and under each article
Careers 12 /careers, one page per role, the roles on About
Testimonials 6 The testimonial slider on Home
Tools 38 The tools listed under each service

Every item has a Status: Live items are published, Draft items are not. Use Draft to prepare an item before it goes online. The order of the items in the list is the order on the site — drag the handle on the left to reorder.

  1. Select the collection, then + (top left of the table).
  2. Fill in every field. The Slug becomes the address — lower case, words joined by -.
  3. For references (a project’s services, a service’s tools), pick existing items; add a missing tool to Tools first.
  4. Set the Status to Live and publish the site.

The item’s page uses the collection’s detail page design (in Pages, under /projects, /services, /blog or /careers). Change that design once and every item follows.

Category (Blog) and Job Type (Careers) are option fields: open the field in Fields to add, rename or remove an option. Renaming an option renames it on every item.

The team on About, the values, the numbers and the chart, the home hero and the contact details are regular content on the pages: select the text or image on the canvas and edit it.
